Gosnells makes sparkling, all-natural drinks from honey and we’re on a mission to take on the dusty, tired UK cider market and rewild the world with natural honey-based alternatives, one pint at a time. We’ve been heads-down building our drinks brand in the last few years and now we’re looking to grow even further. We’ve secured one of London’s most epic events and hospitality venues, currently operating as Peckham Riviera and we can’t wait to bring our vision of a new neighbourhood bar, kitchen and events space to life here.
We’re looking for a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant, fast-paced team. With a buzzing bar, a creative kitchen, and a loyal local following, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, great food, and an unforgettable atmosphere every time.
As Assistant GM, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, lead and inspire the floor team, and uphold our high standards in both service and hospitality. You’ll be hands-on — from running the floor during peak service to managing staff rotas and stock control. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in making guests feel welcome.
Support the GM in all aspects of running the venue
Lead by example during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
Manage, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
Oversee stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Assist in delivering events and promotions that excite our community
Step into the GM role when they are away
Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality (bar/restaurant preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passionate about food, drink, and outstanding customer service
Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
A people person who enjoys building relationships with both staff and guests
Knowledge of Peckham and its hospitality scene is a bonus
